With over 25 years of experience in real estate documents and property records, Alex is a recognized expert in property records, title processing, and the title insurance industry.
Alex began his career at IBM in the 1990s, developing cutting-edge computer-based fraud detection systems for Citibank in Southbury, Connecticut, and Austin, Texas. He later collaborated with a pioneering team to create the first GIS-based digital land use and zoning systems for AT&T and Sprint Mobile during their extensive infrastructure buildout.
Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from New Mexico State University and a Master of Arts in Economics, Alex pursued advanced studies in econometrics, statistics, and game theory at New Mexico State and Texas A&M University. This strong academic foundation complements his hands-on expertise in managing complex property and aviation transaction processes, including title research, escrow services, and high-volume automated workflows.
In addition to his achievements in real estate technology, Alex is an Airbus pilot for a major U.S. airline. His experience in aviation brings a unique perspective to software development, emphasizing procedure and precision. Aviation’s rigorous focus on reliability, checklists, and redundancy has profoundly influenced Alex’s approach to technology. By incorporating these principles, he ensures the development of systems that prioritize reliability, accuracy, and trust.
When he’s not leading Electra Digital, Alex enjoys an active and adventurous lifestyle. An avid golfer, sailplane pilot, back-country skier, and fly fisherman, Alex thrives in the great outdoors and relishes the challenges of precision and skill in both his professional and personal pursuits.
